Some people want you to think carriers are good and brokers are evil. We say, be careful of any company that wants you to believe an entire group is good or bad. There are good carriers, there are good brokers; and both groups also have some bad apples. Believe us, we’re sure of that. When trying to select a trustworthy company to deliver a service, you have limited and often conflicting information to lead you to any obvious choice. Shipping your sofa or a car is not like buying a book or getting a haircut.
If you Google “auto transportation” you get 2.3 MILLION references to websites, that’s it. There are no smiley faces next to the good ones. In order to make an informed decision, you need to do your homework and what you will find is that carriers and brokers are just different groups of people and that each contain varying levels of good and bad.
We are not a carrier, but we would never try to make you think we are. We are proud of the reputation we have created over the last two decades of acting as your representative to help you by selecting THE BEST carriers for specific routes at specific times.
Getting a car from point A to point B is almost never a straight line. Selecting a company that claims to be good because they’re a carrier is not doing your homework. You may want to strongly consider hiring a reputable auto transport broker with good references and excellent customer service.
Before you decide who to ship with, consider all of the factors that you consider benchmarks for good customer service and it’s unlikely that “Must be a carrier” will even be on your list.
