Insurance that covers the goods being transported by a carrier. Motor carriers are required to have cargo insurance. Brokers do not have this type of insurance because they do not directly operate the car transport and do not own trucks. Instead, they will require the carrier to make proof of their cargo insurance before they hire them. |
